For We Are Men of Action

The world and all it’s systems
That science now dissects
Were put in place by sons of God
From patterns He directs.

These same sons stood so tall,
Their freedoms to defend;
They fought beside the Chosen One,
With evil to contend.

They worked, and learned, and gained a strength
That’s hidden deep from view;
These men were men of action then;
These men were me and you.

Now on earth, the veil drawn tight,
We live as mortal men;
To see if we will drift away
Or find that strength within

That calls us up to work, to serve,
To find some task to do;
To fight for right and find that cause
That somehow rings so true.

In this cause we find our joy,
Creating’s in our blood;
Blessed are the willing hands
That stem the evil flood.

We are then the stalwart men
The world has often lacked;
For we are men of action now,
And now’s the time to act!
