He Dodged With Desparation

He ducked through countless alleys;
He feinted left, then right.
He dodged with desperation;
He fought a noble fight.

He ran for countless miles;
‘Was good for many more,
But met the Great Contender,
Surrendered, lost the war.

She has him now, he’s captive;
His bachelor days are done.
He sees her eyes, and then, SURPRISE!
This “loser” yells, “I’VE WON!”
