judgment day

Some have asked; “Is Heaven fun?”
Well, I don’t know it all,
But there’s at least a certain day
That’s bound to be a ball!

On judgement day, when hidden acts
Are shown up on the screen,
Though I don’t know if spirits can,
I’ll likely split a spleen!

To see the wicked get their due,
When, in this life they thought
Their evil deeds had paid so well
Since they had not been caught.

To find the thief that stole my bike,
Or the man who shot my dog;
Countless crimes will then be solved
By reading from the log.

Though it should be a solemn day
When some are made to burn;
I’ll view the screen and laugh with glee…
Until it comes my turn.
